Health Hope is the community testing centre provider in Hong Kong. We are providing self-paid testing services for Hong Kong residents (including specimen collection services using combined nasal and throat swabs and testing services for COVID-19) in community testing centre. The testing fee is 240 Hong Kong Dollars.

Before Testing

2. Selecting a payment method
After the temperature check, we will collect $240 HKD for each test at our community testing centre.
We only accept the cash, octopus card and credit card payment and no changes will be provided.


3. Register & Pick-up Collection Tube
Our staff will collect your personal information and travel documents for registration. We will distribute to you a test barcode and sample collection tube. You will receive a confirmation SMS including the test barcode when done.

4. Collecting the sample
Our medical personnel will assist you to collect the combined nasal and throat swabs. It takes around 2 mintutes.


5. Test Result
You will receive a SMS testing result with report link.

Health Hope COVID-19 Antibody Test (SARS-CoV-2 Antibody Test) recognized by Hong Kong Government is designed for people who received a COVID-19 vaccination to check the antibodies in blood. Our Community Testing Centres mainly aim at providing self-paid testing services to citizens (including specimen collection services using combined nasal and throat swabs and testing services for COVID-19) to serve general community or private purposes such as certification for travelling or work, excluding medical diagnosis and treatment.
If necessary, for example, in situations when there is a higher risk of community transmission, the Government will conduct testing for target groups, specified persons or other members of the public at the testing centres for public health reasons on a needs basis on a needs basis. Separate announcements will be made at that time.
Our Community Testing Centres aim to serve all asymptomatic individuals (excluding children under 3 years old and people not suitable for testing) holding valid Hong Kong identity cards, birth certificates or other valid identity documents (including Hong Kong residents and non-Hong Kong residents).
Booking and walk-in services will be available. Our Community Testing Centres will accord priority to provide service for individuals with advance booking. Citizens who choose to book online via the 24-hour appointment booking system only need to provide simple personal information (including their name, identity document number and phone number) to select the testing centre and time slot. Individuals may also visit the testing centres direct to conduct on-site registration and testing.
Yes. For children who are aged between 3 and 11 but do not have a birth certificate (e.g. they were born outside Hong Kong), they are still eligible for taking the test by on-site registration so long as they hold other valid identity document (e.g. HKSAR Document of Identity for Visa Purposes or HKSAR Re-entry Permit).
Children aged below 3 years old and people who have undergone throat or nasal operations are not suitable for the combined nasal and throat swabs test.
The self-paid testing service participant with a negative result will receive a test report for a COVID-19 nucleic acid test issued by the contractors within 24 hours after conducting the test. Those who test positive will receive calls from the Department of Health to arrange for isolation and treatment in public hospitals.
For the early resumption of cross-boundary people flow between Guangdong and Hong Kong and between Hong Kong and Macao, the Hong Kong SAR Government has been liaising closely with the Guangdong Provincial and Macao SAR Governments to discuss the implementation proposal. The current thinking seeks to allow mutual exemption of compulsory quarantine requirement upon entry to the other side on the basis of the mutual conversion of health codes and mutual recognition of nucleic acid test results. Details of the specific arrangements and implementation timeline will be subject to the development of the epidemic and further deliberations among the three places.
The test results of Community Testing Centres fulfil the relevant requirement for mutual recognition of nucleic acid test results.
The Community Test Centres are arranged through Public Private Partnership, referral from the doctor is not needed.
